Dr. Dana is a dedicated translational researcher, specializing in the intricate molecular dimensions of cancer. Dr. Dana establishing several research laboratories in Jordan and collaborated with two medical doctors to create the Tumor Immuno-Pathology Laboratory (TIP Lab) within the Department of Pathology at Erasmus MC, she established the first Spatial Biology Laboratory within academic centers in the BeNeLux region. she has been the advisor for several PhD & Master students, and a Committee member of a number of Ph.D thesis defenses. Dr. Dana has published around 200 peer reviewed papers with total citations: 1,434., plus being a reviewer for various scientific journals.

Scientific achievements

  • Founded and managed the Spatial Biology sector within the Tumor Immuno-Pathology Laboratory (TIP Lab), Department of Pathology.
  • manage the NanoString technology (bulk RNA), which enables measuring the RNA expression profiles of FFPE samples.
  • Reviewer of a number of manuscripts in respectful journal in the fields of proteomics, angiogenesis, gene modifications. In addition, reviewer of European projects.
